Service: Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of M. Carmel Parish, St. Teresa of Avila Church, Thursday at 10:00 a.m.


Rosemary Flaherty, 98, of Vincentian Personal Care Home, Pittsburgh, PA, died peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2023.She was the first born of three children to Frederick and Lavina (nee Musher) Wolf. She was married to Regis V. Flaherty for 37 years prior to his passing in 1989 and they had seven children.

Rosemary is survived by five of her children, Regis J (Libbie) Flaherty, John (Rita) Flaherty, Judy (Ben) Swogger, Mary Rose (Jim) Franks, and Kathy (Ron) Graziani as well as 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren (with another on the way) and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, her brother (Deacon Gerard Wolf), her sister (Sally Mrozowski), two of her children, Patty (Tanny) Deliere and Kevin (Linda) Flaherty, and two of her grandsons, Kyle Deliere and Patrick Franks.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15229.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 10:00 am at Saint Teresa of Avila church (Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish), 1000 Avila Court, Pittsburgh, PA, 15237. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.
