Rose Marie Schmidt passed peacefully on January 20, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born on April 13, 1948, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Rose was the beloved wife of Gary Schmidt, with whom she shared a joyful life following their marriage on February 20, 1971. She was a devoted mother to Lisa and a loving grandmother to Maddie. Rose is also survived by two brothers and one sister, and was predeceased by a sister.

A dedicated professional, Rose spent many years working in retail sales within the jewelry industry, where she touched the lives of countless customers through her warmth, kindness, and genuine care.

Rose was a passionate dog lover who deeply cherished her pets. She also enjoyed trips to the casino with friends and family, had a special fondness for spending time with her nieces and nephews, and treasured memorable trips to Las Vegas.

A memorial service celebrating Rose’s life will be held on Friday, February 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Butler County Humane Society in honor of Rose’s love of animals.
