Robert M. Berenda, 82, of Hampton Township suddenly passed away at his home on June 26, 2022. He
was preceded in death by parents Michael and Vera Berenda and sister, Elenore Lowery. He was
survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Nancy (Rauch) Berenda. Step father to Blake Brenner, Brooke
Brenner (Dr. Vincent Petraglia), Brittany Brenner (Ken Rock), daughter Robbyn Berenda, and a proud
Grandpa to Caden Brenner and Nickolas Adams.

He was a graduate of North Catholic High School and went on to the University of Dayton. He was a
member of the U.S. Air Force and Army serving six years where he was a medic during the Vietnam War.
In his career he spent many years marketing and selling in the coal industry, beginning with Shannopin
Mining and expanding to other affiliates.

He was a devout Catholic where he spent much of his time practicing his faith and mentoring the youth,
specifically those who needed his guidance. He was a unique guy with such a big personality, a man of

be remembered by so many.
