Robert (Bob) G. Schran, Jr.
Age 82, of Callery/Evans City, on August 12, 2023. Born December 29, 1940. Bob was the son of the late Robert G. Schran, Sr. and Gertrude E. Dempler. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (“Becky”) Maksin for 51 years. Survived by brother Richard (“Janet”) Schran of Cranberry Township, PA.

He was born and raised in Shaler Township and graduated from Shaler High School. Bob served in the U.S. Navy and received a physical service-connected disability in 1960. He was proud to be employed by Children’s Hospital as a skillful plasterer for over 30 years. Bob had a love of animals and enjoyed feeding the wildlife on his property and assisting in the care of his indoor cats. He will always be remembered for his hearty laugh.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday from 9-9:30 am at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, PA at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, officiated by Rev. David Egan. Interment will follow immediately at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township, PA.
