Robert W. Eakin, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Herminie, died Thursday, July 14, 2016. He was the beloved husband of the late Dolores P. Nee-Eakin; father of Maxine Corimski; proud grandfather of Chris Corimski (Paulina) and the late Karen Warfield; great-grandfather of Amanda Rinker (Tom); also survived by four stepchildren. Bob was a gliderman in the 82nd Airborne Division during World War II and the Korean War. He was a proud member of the Leonard A. Funk Medal of Honor Western PA Chapter 82nd Airborne Association.
