Robert D. Devlin, 98, formerly of Franklin Park, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010. Beloved husband for 72 years of the late Nedra (Jones). Born Sept. 27, 1911, in Ayrshire, Scotland, a son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Docherty) Devlin. He retired in 1976 from International Paper following 45 years as a purchasing agent. He was also a retired member of the board of directors of Banner Fiberboard, Wellsburg, W.Va. He was preceded in death by daughters, Elizabeth (Ronald) Smith and Sally (Michael) DeFinis; granddaughter, Deborah Caldwell Opferman; and eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by daughter, Cynthia (the late Howard) Marshall; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John Neumann Church. The family wishes to thank the very caring staff of the Haven at North Hills for five years of wonderful care given to Bob and Nedra as well as the staff of Celtic Healthcare Hospice for their very compassionate help.
