James A. “Jim” Mages, 83, of Ohio Township, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010. He was the beloved husband for 60 years of Mercedes (Musher); loving father of Denise (Frank) Evans, Daniel (Olga Lucia), Michele (Jim) Billeter, Scott and Shawn (Carrie); proud grandfather of Heather Kracklauer, Matt Evans, Eric Mages, Ben Mages, Dr. Lisa Mages-Haskins, Joyce Homiak, Kristy Billeter and Jim Billeter; great-grandfather of four; brother of June Flynn and the late Bill Mages and Ruth Franz; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was a World War II veteran who served in the Navy. He was also an employee for J&L (LTV Steel) for more than 30 years. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John Neumann Church.
