On Saturday, May 1, 2021, Robert Beck, Sr. passed at the age of 90 in Ross Township. Formerly of McCandless Township, he was the son of the late Eugene and Amelia Beck (Geimer)and younger brother to the late Eugene, Rev. Aelred J., O.S.B., Rita Best, and Charles and the surviving Mary Kinzler. Bob was married for 52 years to the love of his life, the late June(Trapp). He was a loving father toCarolann (Allan) Gassert, Janet (Donald) Hansell, Donna Beck, and Robert(Leslie) Beck, Jr. Known as Pappy to his grandchildren Michael (Kathleen) Hansell, Gregory (Jennifer) Gassert, Kathleen(Thomas) Prigg, Steven (Crystal) Gassert, David (Emily) Hansell, Robert (Jamie)Lorenz, Justin (Marin) Beck, and Chase Beck, he was always a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to Logan, Noah, Riley, Catherine, Gwendolyn, Mary Joan,and Natalie. Bob was a roofer for hisfamily business, The Eugene Beck Company, for 52 years. He was a devout Catholic and served as a eucharistic minister and usher in the Diocese of Pittsburgh for nearly 20years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 5 at 11 AM in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 2552 Wildwood Road, Allison Park, PA 15101.
