Daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Mullen) Burns; loving sister of John “Jack” Burns (Helen), Elizabeth “Betsy” Payne (George) and the late Robert F. Burns (and his surviving spouse LeVerne) and Thomas G. Burns; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Friends received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa of Avila Church Thursday 10 a.m. Rita worked for Bell Telephone and Verizon for 40 years.She was such an inspiration to all that she met and she was everyone’s Aunt Rita. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Joshua House Foundation.
