Rita J. Hill, age 94, of Ross Twp., formerly of Madison, CT, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018. Wife of the late Arthur W. Hill; beloved mother of Roger S. Hill (Sherry) of Plano, TX, Alan W. Hill (Lisa) of Irwin and Janet M. Osborn (David) of Pine; proud grandmother of Lauren Weigand, Anne Osbourn, Jarrett Shuck and Daniel Shuck; loving great-grandmother of four; sister of Lillian Reeder of Middletown, CT and Evelyn Gannon of Wallingford, CT. Also survived by many relatives and friends, especially her fellow residents at Rosshill Retirement Residence. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until time of service at 7:30 p.m. at Devlin Funeral Home, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. Rita proudly serviced as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army during Would War II, where she worked at Oliver General Hospital as a nurse. After being honorably discharged, she continued her career as a registered nurse in several Pittsburgh hospitals. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
