I am so sad to have recently learned of Dick’s passing. He was one of the first people I befriended when I worked at Kuhns. His strong work ethic and kindness was recognized by fellow staff and customers. Every shift, he would come up to the customer service office and buy a Pepsi and candy bar. If our breaks lined up, we would sit together in the break room and he would share stories from his past. Dick will be greatly missed as a colleague, a friend, and on a more personal note, as my grandfather figure. Rest easy, Dick. May we meet again in another life.

I shopped at Kuhns just to talk with Dick. What a genuine first class man that had time for everyone. He always asked how the whole family was doing. Dick touched a lot of people and he could speak about a lot of things. I was very sad today to learn he passed. He was my friend. God rest his soul.
