Richard R. Rogg
Age 94, of New Sewickley Twp. formerly of Ross Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021. Born May 25, 1927, son of the late Joseph and Helen (Radzanowski) Rogozinski. Beloved husband of the late Ethel Rogg; loving father of Kenneth (Laurie), Ronald (Janice), and Russell (Kimberly) Rogg; pap-pap of Katie (Adam) , Rebecca (Jake), Evan, Connor, Ashtyn, Sommer, and Cooper; great-pap-pap of Maggie.
Rich graduated from South High School in 1945, having served as Class President. He selflessly served his country in the United States Army, where he received several decorations. Rich was a member of the VFW 2754 in West View.
Following his honorable discharge, he graduated from Robert Morris College and worked his entire career in the plumbing industry as a sales rep and purchasing agent. Rich enjoyed softball, golf, and photography. Rich was a dedicated husband and father and was a true gentleman.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Ferdinand Church. Interment will follow at North Side Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Rich’s name to the Butler VA.
