Of McCandless Twp. Passed away on Saturday, July22, 2023. Born on August 2 1954. Daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Pollack; beloved wife of 46 years to David J. Hungerman; loving mother of Joshua Hungerman.
Becky had a heart of gold, she was funny, kind, very generous, the most patient person you ever met. She loved her flowers and artistic ability to turn a dark room into a beautiful rainforest. It was all around our house. She always worked hard and worked multiple jobs at her employer North Allegheny School District. She loved Christmas and Halloween, she loved the kids that went with it. Halloween she would always make special treats for all the kids. Christmas oh my gosh the house was Santa’s workshop and as for her son Josh and her Husband nothing was too good Becky would give you the shirt off her back and help anyone. Her beautiful smile and even more infectious laugh could light up any size room. She was always very curious and learning. She always worried about her son and husband even in the midst of her health concerns. She was her sons biggest baseball fan, even when she would listen on internet casts late at night. She never passed judgment on anyone and always got along with every person she came across. Her loving touch and gestures came across in many ways with her holiday cards she would hand write and her patience with children throughout her work career. Her artistic and fashion creativity made her such a vibrant mind. She was a perfect dog mom to Bandit for nearly two decades, raising one dog and inheriting one from her mother. Her ability to listen but also give you her honest opinion made her so authentic and pure, which is so hard to find. Her love and selflessness could not be measured in words. She had an uncanny ability to detect when things were wrong and would never hesitate to reach out to family and friends for support. She was very organized and tidy, two traits she had to develop because her son and husband were not so much (LOL). A void will remain in this world forever from such a beautiful person.
Friends received on Sunday, 2-6 p.m. at Devlin Funeral Home, Inc., 806 Perry Hwy, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Aidan Parish, St. Alexis Church, Monday at 10:00 a.m.

I only just learned that Becky is no longer with us. Working with her at North Allegheny was a pleasure and a privilege. Her work ethic, her caring for attitude, and her high standards for interacting with people made our department so much better. I am so sorry that your family will be without this incredible woman. She always had my complete respect. May you feel God‘s comfort and peace in this time comfort and peace in this time.
