Raymond H. McCormick, Sr.
Age 82, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford.
Born October 26, 1940, son of the late Henry and Phyllis McCormick. Raymond shared 58 years of marriage with his beloved wife Eleanor (Dietrich) McCormick. Loving father of Raymond (Tammy) McCormick Jr., Eleanor (James) Campbell, Michelle McCormick, Frank (Chrissy)McCormick and Kimberly (Jesse Boland) McCormick.
Grandfather of 11; Jennifer Clark(Phil), Tiffany Spiegel(Billy), MacKenzie & Andrew Campbell,Douglas & Jimmy Mitchell, Joey & Rachel McCormick, Trevor Zeleznik & Brantley Boland.
Raymond was preceded in death by his brothers Harold &James McCormick, Frank, Joseph and William Dietrich. Sisters Marianne Nestor, Rosemarie Opferman, Alberta Garrard, Marlene Schattauer , and granddaughter Jessica Bosancic.
Survived by sisters Joanne Major, Janet McCormick,AnnaMae Gally, Diana(John) Vinski, Joann (Vincent)Czachowski,
And cousin Sister Agnes McCormick as well as many Nieces,nephews and their Families.
At Raymond’s request there will not be a viewing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on June 27, 2023 at 10 am at Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory Church with Rev. Jim Wehner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Ray’s name to Good Samaritan Hospice House Wexford or Animal Friends Pittsburgh.
