Cheri R. Szymanski of Pittsburgh’s North Side passed away peacefully to be with God at age 77. Daughter of the late Harry Hatherley and Helen Kitchen Hatherley. Sister to the late Carol Weiss, Penny Mickail and Bonnie Perkins. Cheri is survived by and loving mother to son Michael Szymanski and daughter Melanie Lutz (Szymanski) (Mike). Grandmother of Allura, Harley, Kira and Peyton. Sisters Connie Cretella (Ron) and Debbie McKelvey (Larry). And loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Cheri’s greatest joy in life was socializing with others and making people happy. A memorial service will be at 11AM on Friday, June 23, 2023 at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15229.
