Peter Countouris

April 27, 2024 - March 09, 2015

Of Ross Twp., on Monday, March 9, 2015. What can I tell you about our Pete? He was the second son of Joyce and the late Andrew; a brother to Mark, Lisa and Lon, and Spiro and Mary Ellen; uncle to Andy, Emily, Michael and Max; a friend to many. He was a beautiful man inside and out. Pete was a kind, helpful, generous and a gentle man. He was a talented artist who produced many beautiful drawings, took pride in his work and hobbies. He loved his motorcycle and music, enjoyed many concerts by the Grateful Dead, Phish, Frank Zappa, and many others. He had an uncanny ability to gather many friends whom he loved and appreciated individually and collectively. He was the go to man in locating a specialist of any kind or genre should the need arise. But most of all he loved life, nature, good food, happy gatherings and did not hesitate to share what he had to give with family and friends. Pete was a lifelong resident of the North Hills. Friends received Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., where Trisagion service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Friends also will be received Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 985 Providence Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
