    Dear Rania & Kathy,

Our deepest sympathies for your loss. Although I remember Pauline best as the kind, jovial, Thea and mother to our favorite Pittsburgh sisters, over our adult years I came to know the strength & beauty of that special mother daughter bond. In Pauline’s later years, it warmed my heart to see Rania cherish and nurture that glimmering light emanating from her soul, and delight in the giggles and jokes you could read in her eyes. May those memories last eternal.

We met Pauline at her diner. She always greeted us with a smile and made us feel so welcome. When she got ill we asked about her whenever we frequented her business. She was such a kind soul and wonderful person. Our condolences to her family especially to her daughter who now runs the business and is just like her mom. Such good people
