Paul William “Mush” Musher

February 01, 1958 - December 12, 2025

Paul William “Mush” Musher, Age 67 passed away on December 12, 2025 at Hemsley House after he lost his battle with PCNSL-Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma.

He was born in Pittsburgh on February 1, 1958, the son of the late William Musher and Betty Hamm Musher. “Mush” is survived by his sisters, Nancy Musher Bowers and Mary Ann Musher Meininger and his niece, Lisa Bowers and great niece, Madisyn Bowers.

“Mush” returned to Pittsburgh from Charlotte, NC after our father died in 2002 to be the primary care giver for our beloved mom for seventeen years. Mush was a third generation mechanic who retired early, at age 64.

Anybody who knew “Mush” also knew what an avid Nascar fan he was. “Mush” rescued four dogs and was the best dog Dad ever to Lex, J.J., Jasmine and Callie.

No visitation or service, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Donations in his memory can be made to: Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, Butler County Humane Society or any other animal rescue of your choice.

Mush and I work together for many years. He followed his father’s footsteps and became a great diesel mechanic. He always raised the bar with his high personal standards. Rest in peace my friend.

Paul was a great guy and a good friend. He was a loving and devoted son and brother to his family. He would do anything for anyone, had a great sense of humor and knew Jesus as his savior. I’ll see you again someday, Paul.

I am so sorry for your loss. May we take solice and rejoice that Mush is fully restored, eating all his favorite foods, and hanging out with Dale Earnhardt. His time came to soon, but thankfully his suffering has concluded. Death is for the living, those mourn our loved ones, who have gone before us. Let us remember the joyful times and know Mush is at peace and watching over you.
