Patrick Timothy “PT” Moore
Patrick Timothy “PT” Moore answered the call of our Lord and Savior on October 15, 2021. He was 61 years old. PT was a loving husband, father, brother, friend, and patriot. He was a leader and a blessing to all who knew him.
PT dedicated his life to serving others. He served our country, spending 37 years in the US Navy. His career fed his love of travel, taking him all over the world as a deep-sea diver and marine mammal trainer. PT also served as a Chaplain for the American Legion in his adopted home state of Florida. He was a dedicated volunteer for many veteran’s service organizations in Bay County. He volunteered in fund raisers and worked in schools teaching children about the US Constitution and Flag.
PT was a decorated veteran. Among his awards during his service, he was awarded 3 Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, 2 National Defense Service Medals, 5 Navy Good Conduct Medals, 3 Navy Diver Insignia, Navy Battle ‘E’ Ribbons, 2 Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, 5 Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. He was also awarded the Navy Expert Rifleman and Expert Pistol Medals, and many, many more.
PT is preceded in death by his parents, John and Patricia Moore of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and two brothers, Tom and Ty. PT is survived by his wife, Michelle, three children, Nick, Zach, and Jake, two brothers, Terry and Teague, two sisters, Colleen and Tina, 6 grandchildren, a stepson, a few step-grandchildren, and a whole bunch of family and friends.
