Patrick James Duddy

Our hearts are sad to announce the unexpected passing of Patrick James Duddy on May 8, 2020 at 39 years old. He was the cherished and beloved son of Lynn Duddy. He was the loving son of Thomas J. Duddy, Jr. He is survived by his mother’s supportive fiance’, Ralph Maruscak. He was the loving brother of Erin Duddy of Cary, North Carolina and uncle of her daughter, Shannon Hobbs. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend, Kayla Fetherlin; his loving and supportive aunt and uncle, Carol and Joe Zurchin and their children, Lauren and Dana; his loving uncle and wife, Jim and Lonnie Skala and their children, Leanne and Kristen, and their children; his uncles and aunts on his father’s side: Mickey, Dan, Donna, Kathy, Karen and John and numerous cousins on his father’s side; and stepbrother Connor.

He was preceded in death by his loving maternal grandparents, Margaret and Nick Skala, and his paternal grandparents, Betty and Tom Duddy, Sr., and his uncle David Duddy. He will be extremely missed by his wonderful, close friends Michael Brindle and Nikki Bistolas who both were so supportive and loving to Patrick in so many ways. Patrick will be profoundly missed by all his true friends who he considered his extended family.

Patrick attended North Allegheny Schools while growing up and graduated from Rosedale Technical School in 2011. He enjoyed traveling, skiing, cars, mountain biking, Stone Harbor, N.J. in the summers of his youth and working at his current job at American Mineral Solutions.

Pat was a kind and loving person. He had good times and hard times in his life but was always striving to make his life better and had both successes and setbacks. He loved so strongly, especially his mother for her unconditional love and support, his girlfriend Kayla for her love of him and his remaining family and true friends for their love.

Patrick will be in our hearts forever. The Lord said “My peace be with you”. This is what is wished for Patrick as we pray that the Lord welcomes him into his eternal Kingdom.

Due to our Nations Current pandemic, private family services will be held, and entombment will be held at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Professional Arrangements Entrusted to Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills.
