of Ross, formerly of Hampton Township, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at age 82. Born on July 12, 1932 in Millvale, PA, Pat was the daughter of the late Patrick J., and Marie C. Coyne. Married for 37 years to the late John A. Pschirer, she is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years, Frank J. Capan. Much of Pat’s life revolved around her church and family. Pat was a devoted member of St. Mary’s church choir as well as Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and camping with her family. Pat had touched the lives of many, including friends from her employment at Sears, her bowling league, and Naomi Terrace neighbors; all of whom she dearly loved. She is survived by her very adoring children: Donna Merritt, Nancy (Brian) Newhouse, Joanne (Michael) Grady, Mary (Greg) Altman, Jackie (Joe) Garrity, and Mike (Katie) Pschirer. Her dear grandchildren: Adam Sarver (Kearstin), Jack Sarver, Natalie Sarver, Sam Altman, Abbie Altman, Jim Garrity, Jeana Garrity, Nick Merritt, Kyle Pschirer, Luke Pschirer, Lainey Pschirer, and her great grandson, Wiley Sarver. Pat also leaves behind her goddaughter, niece Sally Ricketts and many nieces and nephews, Frank’s daughters, Vicki Mc Cosby, Cathy Shea and Sandy Kuhn. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Sebastian Church on Wednesday at 10AM. Her family and many friends will deeply miss her kindness, joy in singing, unconditional love for her family, and gentle spirit. Special and heartfelt thanks to the staff at Cranberry Place, Good Samaritan Hospice Care and the countless others who have comforted Pat and her family. As a former devoted band parent, contributions may be made in honor of Pat Pschirer Capan’s memory to the Hampton Remembrance Garden. Payable checks to: Hampton Alumni Remembrance Committee.
