Norman Howenstein, age 89, of, Cranberry Twp., formerly of the North Hills, on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Beloved husband of Joan (Mankey); Loving father of Grace Diane Howenstein, Beth Howenstein (Tom Gregory), and David Slaughter; Also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Norm was a proud graduate of Aspinwall High School. He then served his country in the United States Navy. Upon being honorably discharged, Norm attended Waynesburg University and the University of Pittsburgh, where he received a degree in Urban Planning. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY.
