Age 83, of Ross Twp., peacefully at home on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Husband of Mary Lou (Fetchin); father of Kathleen Danner and the late Timothy M. O’Keefe; grandfather of Christina and Matthew Danner; brother of Patricia Beede (Ray); uncle of Chris and Emma Beede, and Scott and Maura Beede; also survived by several cousins. Mike was a lifelong resident of the North Hills. He loved professional football, especially the Steelers, World War 2 era airplanes, reading, and playing handball for over 50 years. Mike was a graduate of Pitt and a longtime employee of Equitable Gas. He also served as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Air Force. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1000 Avila Ct., Pgh., PA 15237. Everyone please meet at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Hospice, 2605 Nicholson Rd., Sewickley, PA 15143.
