Michael J. Ivanisin Jr., Age 91, of Ohio Twp, passed away in the home he loved on August 1, 2026. Born October 11, 1934, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Michael John Sr., and Margaret Mildred (Miksa) Ivanisin. Beloved Husband of the late Midge (Kerrish) Ivanisin. Loving brother of the late Raymond (Dolores), Richard (Carol), Eugene, and surviving sister Deanna (Joseph) Atzinger. Proud Uncle of Mark, Collette, Eileen, Joyce, Richard Jr., Robert, Joseph III, Andrea, and Joshua; Great Uncle to Suzie.

Michael worked in various telecommunication specialties spanning over 40 years between Western Electric and Lucent Technology. He spent as much time tinkering with computers and other electronics as he could. He believed everything could be fixed and there was never an issue he couldn’t find a solution for. His motto was not to panic, even if it’s wrong, do something. He was as generous with his time as he was with his money and was always helping someone. You could often find him with a smile on his face, laughing, and having a good time with his friends and family. He enjoyed listening to all genres of music, going out to eat, and an ice-cold beer.

Michael requested a private service limited to immediate family. In lieu of flowers; memorial donations can be made in his name to St. Judes Children’s Research or University of Pittsburgh Cancer Research. Services will be private.
