Mary Jane McGinnis
April 26, 2024 - January 20, 2012
Age 80, of North Hills, was peacefully called home on January 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, Paul W. McGinnis. She was the loving mother of Pam (Dan) Weeber, Keith (Maureen), Lynn (Jim) Miele, Judy (Terri) McGinnis-DeRubeis, Paula (Wally) Bittner, Julie (Joe) Walsh. She was “Grandma,” “G.” and “Abuella” to her cherished grandchildren, Kevin, Phillip, Ashley, Lisa, Gina, Marla, Marissa, Miranda, Barrett, Brittany, Josh, Allie, Dylan, Sammi; great-grandmother of Camden, Alyssa, and Lily. She is survived by her one and only sister, Dorothy (Chuck) Siemon; also survived by her wonderful in-laws, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends will be received on Monday January 23, 2012, 2 p.m.-9 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA 15229. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Devlin Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure , 5005 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244, Attention: Development Department.

We are so sorry about your loss. Over the last few years, we have come to know what a wonderful woman your mother was. Mrs McGinnis was such a sweet and loving lady who loved you all more than anything. She had such a fun personality and one of the greatest smiles of anyone we have ever known. We will miss her visits and her great parenting advice. “NEVER admit that you are wrong to your children!!!” was a personal favorite 🙂 Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
