Age 68 of Ross Twp., died in an automobile accident on Fri 6-16-2006. Beloved wife of Max G. Lees for 49 years; loving mother of Minda J. Lees, Mark G. Lees, Melanie J. Lees and Melissa J. Lees; sister of Morris and John Hersberger; dear grandmother “Nana” of Alexandra Lees, Eric Lees and Julia Puckett. NO VISITATION. Memorial Service on Thursday, 6-22 at 3:30 PM at Hiland Presbyterian Church. Marty grew up on a farm near Lapel, IN. She had lived in Pittsburgh for 43 years and was a graduate of University of Pittsburgh with a Master’s in Social Work. Marty had worked as a Social Worker, Director of Counseling and maintained a private counseling practice for many years. Recently Marty reflected that “When she was 18, the two most important aspects of my life were my family and friends. Now at 68, the two most important aspects of my life are still my family and friends.” Marty was loved dearly by all the people in her life, and she will be forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
