Margie, Mom, passed away from heart complications in her home town of Pittsburgh, PA.

Margie was a fashionista at all times and dressed to the most up to date clothing trends. Looking good at all times was of utmost importance!

Margie was a charter member to the Valley Brook Swim and Tennis Club where the family spent the majority of their
summer time.

An ardent fan of all sports but was a true Pittsburgh fan of the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins. The Pirates were her first love with her initial games at Forbes Field. Margie and her mother, Frances, went to the baseball game every Friday night and
Margie passed along her love of baseball to her daughters. As a group they attended many games. Having a hot dog and beer and being at the ball park was a source of immense joy.

Margie was a basketball player in high school and loved college basketball especially March Madness.

Margie was a pioneer in the early days attending business school and then working for Reliance Insurance Company. Margie then picked up her career later in life by working as the receptionist at Ethan Allen for 20 years. As the receptionist she organized the client to customer delegation, opened and closed the daily sales and was the welcoming face and voice upon coming through the door.

Margie loved the outdoors and particularly loved the ocean and the beach. Family trips to the Caribbean Islands were the highlight of the year. Affectionately called “Beach Mama” the sun and sand were part of her DNA.

Margie Lee Kling was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Margie is the daughter of late Elsie Englehardt Kling and August Kling. Margie was raised by her paternal aunt, Frances and her husband Ed Bartsch after Elsie passed away at and early age.

A graduate of St. George High School in Pittsburgh Pa and Advanced Business School.

Survived by her daughters, Linda Reh, Janis Reh (Fred Leiner), Carolyn Haas Koenig. Grandmother to Ryan Hey (Holly), Barbara Koenig, Sandra Koenig Fears. Great Grandmother to Ryley Hey, Maggie and Carol Lynn Fears.

Family would like to acknowledge the many friends who helped Margie stay comfortable in her own apartment. Primary care givers Janice Kyle of 9 years and Amanda Portman of 1 year gave sunshine in support to both Margie and Linda.

No services.
Margie’s ashes will be going on the next beach vacation so that she will be one with “her ocean”.
