Of McCandless Twp., passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Wife of the late Robert H, mother of Bob (Eva), Stacey and David (Molly), grandmother of Maya (Ben) Bock, Maggie (Michael) Hustava, Patrick (Kelsey) and Katie and great grandmother of 4. Surviving in-law of Marie Weidner, June Scherer, Richard and Patricia Scherer, cousins and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Marie Clarke and sister Phyllis Mack. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Sebastian Church, Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.

Dear Bob and family,
Peggy was one of a kind. We started out as neighbors and became family. There are so many stories to tell about her and Bones. Now she is with my husband and son and I am sure they are going to raise hell together. May they all be resting in peace.

Peggy Scherer was one of a kind. There will never be anyone like her again. she was a great friend to us as was her great husband Bob. She was generosity personified. She didn’t suffer fools gladly, and we were honored to be in her friends circle. May she rest in peace.
