Louis “Jim” Nene, of West View, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008. Beloved husband of Louise M. (Wurstlein) Nene; dear friend of the Porter children, Edward, Kathleen, Thomas, Mary Lou, James and their 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother of Mary Lou Nene. Jim graduated from St. Vincent College and was a distinguished philosophy professor at various local colleges. Friends received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Alexis Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Benedictine Sisters, 4530 Perrysville Ave., Pittsburg, PA 15229 or Mercy Hospital School of Nursing.
