Lois Konkoly, age 84, of Mars, formerly of Latrobe, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018. She was born Feb. 13, 1934, daughter of the late Edward and Laura (Trump) Springer; Beloved wife of Joseph M. Konkoly; Loving mother and grandmother of 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Janet (Todd) Sapet – Matthew and Laura; JoAnne (Edward DDS) Woehling MD – Katherine DMD, Mollie MD, and Anne; Judy (Michael) Slusar – Jenna and Angie; Joseph M. (Kelly) Konkoly Jr. – Samuel and Louis. Lois was one OF 8 siblings, pre-deceased by Dolores, Richard, James and William. Survived by her dear sister Shirley Gallagher and brothers Robert and Edward Springer.
Lois’s great joy was loving and playing with her grandchildren and just last week she met her first great grandchild Aiden. She was a faithful member of Orchard Hill Church and a gentle quiet ambassador for God’s love and shared her sweet gentle ways with all who knew her.
A Memorial Service celebrating Lois’s life will be announced and held at a later date at Orchard Hill Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to — Orchard Hill Church – ELEOS Ministry.

Our deepest condolences from the Texas cousins. We have such fond memories of your mom from when ya’ll came to Texas and we visited PA when we were kids. We also have been remembering the wonderful time and good talks at the reunion. We will always remember Aunt Lois with love in our hearts.
