Elizabeth Payne, age 79, of McCandless Twp., peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Beloved wife of George, whom she was just one month shy of their 60th wedding anniversary. Loving mother of Kathy Arena (Phil) and Kelli Fringer (Kevin); Proud grandmother of Philip Arena (Angie), Kasey Brown (Corey), and Kelsi, Kolin, Kaylie, and Kyra Fringer; Cherished great-grandmother of Chase; Loving Sister of Jack Burns (Helen) and the late Rita Burns, Robert Burns (survived by LeVerne), and Thomas Burns; Dear sister-in-law of Diane Payne, Claudia Richardson (Bill) and Robert Payne (Diane); Also survived by many loving friends and relatives.
Betsy was a life long member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Wexford. PA. She may also be remembered as the “Dudt’s Lady”, as she worked there for many years. Betsy loved traveling with George’s softball team, attending the many activities of her beloved grandchildren and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Church, 201 Church Rd. Wexford, PA 15090, on Friday at 10AM. In celebration of Betsy’s life and her 80th birthday, the family asks that you wear something pink to the funeral. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Joshua House Foundation, 1552 Barrington Dr., Wexford, PA 15090.

George and family, I am so sorry to hear of Betsy’s passing.
She always brightened my day when I crossed doorways, between the Print Shop and the Bakery, to buy something sweet.
Her smile was the sweetest thing I came away with!!!
