Linda Diane Farrell

Passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Linda was born on October 8, 1955 to the late Leslie and Ruth Kinsel; Loving wife of 40 years to Mike Farrell; Loving mother of Timothy Farrell and Richard Farrell; sister to the late Leslie Kinsel; niece of Donny and Cathy Hartner; daughter-in-law of Evelyn Farrell and the late Richard Farrell; sister-in-law of Susan (Ron) Hardy, Cindy (Mark) Hahn, Mary (Tim) Smith; and David (Laura) Farrell; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Linda was an individual that brightened a room the second she entered. She retired from working at Rowan Elementary 2018 where she was a beloved Cafeteria worker (A.K.A. lunch lady) / cook. She was a highly involved volunteer for 16 years with the Ladies Auxiliary at the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Department to the point where she became Vice President. During her free time she enjoyed horseback riding, seasonal decorating around the house, and watching Yellowstone amongst other shows with her boys as she liked to call Mike and the boys.  She also loved cooking for family and friends, especially on holidays or special occasions.  One of Linda’s favorite times of the year was beach time, because it was family time, as well as time to soak up sun, riding waves with her boogie board and walking the shoreline with her boys. Linda made an everlasting impact on her community, friends, and family. She will forever be missed by her friends and family but will never be forgotten. Her kindness and warm-hearted nature will live in all of us and will be passed on to the ones we love.

Friends will be received Sunday 1 PM to 5 PM at DEVLIN Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road. Service Monday at 10 AM at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers Contributions can be made to the Ladies auxiliary of the Cranberry Township fire department.
