Age 80, of Cranberry Twp., passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Beloved wife on the late AARON SMITH; loving mother of Christopher, and Kimberly Smith; grandma of Phoebe, Lilly, Corall, and Melodi.
Linda was an educator who began her teaching career in the New York Metropolitan Area and Subsequently in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Following her move to the Pittsburgh Area, Linda founded and for many years headed Family Development Center, a preschool for young children which still flourishes today. Subsequently, Linda became a caregiver tending the needs of numerous elderly clients in their homes. A lover of music, Linda sang with the Sweet Adelines for more than 30 years.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Linda taught both of our children at FDC – She was a wonderful educator and person. Prayers to your entire family.

My sincerest condolences to Linda’s family. She was my fathers caregiver. She took such good care of him. We are broken hearted to hear she is gone. We found out just recently. If the memorial has not been yet, I would want to try to attend if it is public. Linda took such good care of of my Dad that I am so grateful for all she did for him. She truly was a gift.
