Joseph H. Janeda, agе 86 of the North Side, passed peacefully on Saturday March 11, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Peggy Ann Janeda. Father of Linda (Mike) Snyder, Joseph (Mary) Janeda Jr., Thomas (Shelly) Janeda, Scott (Janice) Janeda, Dennis (Bonnie) Janeda, Barbara Janeda, Suzanne Janeda, and the late Cindy Ann Janeda. Survived by many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Joe was a 3 year Army Veteran having served two years in France. He retired from H.J. Heinz Company after 35 years. He was a member of the Traffic and Transportation Association of Pittsburgh.
Arrangements made with DEVLIN Funeral Home Inc. There will be no public visitation.

You couldn’t ask for a better next door neighbor than Joe. Before we were moved in, one day when we were cleaning and working on the house, Joe came over with a big bag of Heinz canned goods to welcome us to the neighborhood. He always made sure we had a stock of whatever canned goods we needed and even some of what we didn’t need. He was a neat guy to talk to and will be missed. Condolences to his family and loved ones.
