John W. Katzenmeyer, 44, of Cranberry Township, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Linda K. (Comport) Katzenmeyer; son of the late William and Pauline Katzenmeyer; loving brother of James R. Katzenmeyer and Julie A. (Kevin) Heckathorn; son-in-law of Peggy L. Kern and James A. (Margie) Comport; brother-in-law of James R. (Joni) Comport; also survived by aunts, uncles, one niece and four nephews. John was a 1985 graduate of North Hills High School with continuing education at Duquesne University and Control Data Institute. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, 724-772-8800. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
