Age 83, of Ross twp., died peacefully at home on September 24, 2021, surrounded by her family. Joanne is survived by her husband of 60 years, Michael K. Rodgers, Sr. She is survived by her eight children, Michael Kitrick Rodgers, Jr. (Judy), Mary Rodgers Marciniak (Richard), Brian Parker Rodgers (Lita), Kevin William Rodgers (Jennifer), Kathryn Lynne Rodgers, Matthew John Rodgers (Suzanne), Daniel Joseph Rodgers (Maura) and Patrick Martin Rodgers (Laura Flemming); also surviving are 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Joanne was the youngest child of John Parker and Mary Agnus Nolan Parker of Brighton Heights. In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her four siblings, William Parker, Elizabeth Meals, Margaret Halligan and Patricia Carroll. Our family would like to thank our sister, Katy and her family for providing so much of Mom’s care during the last year of her life. We would also like to thank our cousin, Nancy Freyvogel, M.D. for her assistance and support. We extend of gratitude and appreciate to Maria, RN, Joanne’s hospice angel. In lieu of flowers, our family requests donations to Family Hospice, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243. Friends received Monday 2-7 pm at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills.
