His friends appreciated him for his great work ethic, his can-do attitude, his expertise and knowledge, his sense of humor, and his great story telling ability.

In addition to his wife, daughter, and fur buddy, Jerry is survived, and will be missed so much, by his siblings: Maureen Doody of Pittsburgh, Thomas Doody (Joyce) of Nevada, Patricia Doody (Chuck Ettensohn) of Pittsburgh, and his sister-and-brother-in-law, Sue Monahan (Bill) of Georgia. His great nieces and nephews are Samantha, Kate, Tyler, Jane, Shaymus and Trevor Davidson.

Jerry was preceded in death by his loving parents and in-laws.

Dear Patty and Caroline, I am so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. He was a very special person. I enjoyed spending time with him during the many softball games. I remember him with a twinkle in his eyes, a bright smile, and ready to share some laughter. I enjoyed running into him from time to time while shopping and sharing updates about our daughters. Wishing you both comfort in your loss.
