Jerry is the beloved husband of 51 years to Patricia Ann Doody, and the devoted father of Caroline Leuschen (Brett), and his little fur buddy, Levi.

Jerry loved to travel, especially to various beaches and islands. He loved boating, and was a member of the Beaver Valley Yacht Club. His favorite hobbies included target shooting, lifting weights and reading – his favorite book was Out of This Furnace. His friends appreciated him for his great work ethic, his can-do attitude, his expertise and knowledge, his sense of humor, and his great story telling ability.

In addition to his wife, daughter, and fur buddy, Jerry is survived, and will be missed so much, by his siblings: Maureen Doody of Pittsburgh, Thomas Doody (Joyce) of Nevada, Patricia Doody (Chuck Ettensohn) of Pittsburgh, and his sister-and-brother-in-law, Sue Monahan (Bill) of Georgia. His many nieces and nephews will miss their cool, fun, and handsome Uncle Jerry: Tim Doody (Peter), Steve Davidson (Julie), Scott Davidson (Heather), Kati Doody, Megan Monahan, Zac Ettensohn, and Leah Ettensohn. His great nieces and nephews are Samantha, Kate, Tyler, Jane, Shaymus and Trevor Davidson.

Jerry was preceded in death by his loving parents and in-laws.

Dear Patty and Caroline, I am so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. He was a very special person. I enjoyed spending time with him during the many softball games. I remember him with a twinkle in his eyes, a bright smile, and ready to share some laughter. I enjoyed running into him from time to time while shopping and sharing updates about our daughters. Wishing you both comfort in your loss.
