Jeffrey Lyle

Jeffrey Horton Lyle, age 65, passed away December 25, 2017. Jeffrey was the first of four sons of Robert D. and Joan W. Lyle. Born November 19, 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA, and raised in Peters Township, Washington County. Jeffrey graduated from Peters Township High School in 1970, and from Texas Christian University in 1974 with a BA in Accounting. After graduating from TCU, Jeffrey gained employment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, with Midcontinent Coal where he met his wife, Megan (nee Thornton) Lyle. Jeff had a life-long affinity for community theater, and was active in Toastmasters International. He courageously dealt with multiple sclerosis for the last thirty-four years of his life. In 2006 he returned to Mars, PA, and later to Cabot, PA. Jeffrey is survived by brothers Jonathan, Jason and Jay, and former wife Megan Thornton Lyle.
