Jean Blythe

Jean Ellen (Winesburgh) Blythe, 80, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Ross, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Blythe had been employed as Director of Dietary Service at Asbury Heights and St. Barnabas Continues Care Homes. Mrs. Blythe was known and loved for her generous spirit and desire to help others. She is survived by three children, Joyce Corley, of Westport, Conn., David Blythe, of Oakland, Md., and Bryan Blythe, of Lakeland, Fla. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Raymond Winesburgh, of Pittsburgh, George Winesburgh, of Kittanning, Gail Olson, of Oklahoma, and Laurine Wynn, of Arizona. Mrs. Blythe very much enjoyed her five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the hospice of your choice.
