James “Jim” Franklin Poole, Jr
Age 77, of Cranberry Township passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 peacefully while surrounded by family.
Jim was born on November 14, 1944 in Lawrenceville (Pittsburgh). Jim was the son of the late James Poole Sr. and Virginia Belle Adams. Jim married Donna J Wise on February 22, 1969 and moved to Cranberry Township where they were married for 52 years. In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by 2 sons; James (Rosemary) Poole III of Evans City and Scott Poole of Girard. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Heather Poole and Tyler Poole both of Cranberry Township and Allyson and Brianna Poole of Girard.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having patriotically served in motor transport of the Marines. Jim was a life member of the American Legion Post 474 in Zelienople.
He also belonged to the Masons Harmony Lodge 429. He enjoyed many trips to Remigny Quebec fishing for the big one.

Jim’s favorite event was Halloween nights with the neighborhood gang and all the neighborhood children along with the veteran’s breakfast every month.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11 am at the funeral home, with Rev. Matt Klenk celebrating.  Interment will be held at The National Cemetery of The Alleghenies with full military honors on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Make A Wish Foundation, or Highmark Caring Place.
