FANNING JAMES D., JR. Age 52, of New Sewickley Twp., tragically, on Sunday, November 24, 2013. Beloved husband for 28 years of Sandra (Lenz); proud father of David, Nicholas, and Deborah Fanning; loving son of James and Esther Fanning; dear brother of Donald (Karen) and the late Deborah Fanning; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp. (724) 772-8800. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Ferdinand Church on Friday 10 a.m.

My deepest condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. I didn’t know James but was sorry to hear of his passing. When we lose someone we love in death, the pain, grief, and feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. But remember that the Almighty God sees your tears, he feels your pain, and he will continue with you to comfort and sustain you through this very difficult time.
With our deepest sympathy and prayers. Jim was a great person, wonderful co-worker, and most importantly a friend that left a positive impression on my life and the lives of those around him. He will be missed, but his memory will live on in me by his love for music that we both shared. God bless you all.
