James A. Benton, of Ross, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009. He was the beloved husband, for 48 years, of Mary Jane (Wilson) Benton; loving father of Cathi L. (Gregory) Heibling, Deborah J. Benton and James C. Benton; son of Helen Benton Myres; grandfather of Jessica, William and Alexandra; brother of Jo Eastlund, William “Buddy” Benton, Donald Benton and Richard Benton. Jim was selfless, spiritual and a good Christian who was always in service for others and his God. Celebrating his friendship with Bill W. for 27 years. Friends received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the T. B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills, where services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. Interment in Richland Township Cemetery, Johnstown, Pa.
