James Adam Albert
On Friday, January 16, 2026 age 95 of Pittsburgh. Jim is preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Albert, and sisters Mildred Caputo and Elizabeth Helgerman. He is survived by his nieces Josann Hawkins, Mary Jo Manning, and nephews Raymond and Michael Caputo, and the late Rev. Roy Helgerman. Also survived by his special friend Julie Interval and great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many other friends. Jim was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean conflict and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s engineering program with honors. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, reading, and watching his favorite local Pittsburgh sports teams. Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 8:00-9:30 AM at the Devlin Funeral Home 806 Perry Hwy. Pittsburgh, Pa 15229. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 21st, following visitation at St. Sebastian Church-Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish.
