I didn’t know Jackie personally but I have gotten to know her son and daughter in law (Russ & Kristie). After reading the messages, she clearly was a wonderful person, just like them. Sending prayers and condolences during this difficult time.

Jackie (&Gill) took great care of my brother as if he were their own son when he needed it the most. She was a blessing to him and for that I am forever grateful. Jackie was the best gardener & the best annual 4th of July party host. She will truly be missed by so many whose lives she touched.
God rest your soul, Jackie, & go enjoy a cup of tea with your mom.

Fair winds and following seas cousin. I regret that time and distance interfered with getting together more often. You were so easy to talk to and will be missed by all you touched. Go with God.

Jackie was more than a member of the McKnight Women’s Club. As one member put it, she was such a FORCE! Jackie joined the McKnight Women’s Club in 1980 and over the past 44 years, she made an incredible impact on our club. Serving as membership chairperson, Jackie knew, and cared about, every member of the club for the past four decades. Her beautifully crafted annual directories helped to keep the rest of us connected as well. Jackie served on the luminary committee and the spaghetti dinner committees. Always a strong proponent of the club doing everything we possibly could for the kids of McKnight Village, Jackie had previously served as a member of the day camp committee, the playground renovation committee, the Run for the Rec committee, and many more. Perhaps most importantly, Jackie was always a calm thought leader, voicing her common-sense ideas about the right path for the club to take in so many situations. In 2011, Jackie was named a Diamond Club Member which is a special honor bestowed by the McKnight Women’s Club for a lifetime of dedication and being a committed citizen who has positively changed the world. I am wondering just how we will manage without her wisdom, her caring heart, her dedication, and her determination.
