Jacob Henke
August 02, 1923 - December 29, 2004
age 81 formerly of North Hills, died in Lady Lakes , Fla. On Wed. 12-29-04. Husband of the late Vera Henke, Father of Timothy T. And Charles A. Both of Fla., Jacob F. IV of Bulger, Pa. And Tanya Blobner of Bradford Woods. Grandfather of Jacob F. V, Jewel English, Beth Herr, and Nikolaus Blobner. Also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Jake was a well known pillar of the Northside community, coining the term,”For a good Steak See Jake”, in the East St. Valley Family supermarket of over 70 years in operation. In later years he was past President of the Greater Pgh Board of Realtors and a active member of the American Legion and the VFW Post 2754.
Visitation Fri. 2-4, 6-8 PM at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy Ross Twp. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Wisdom Parish, St. Boniface Church, Sat. 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Ross Twp.
