Age 71 of McCandless Twp., passed away after a short illness on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Beloved husband for 40 years of Catherine (Handwerger) Tilly; Loving father of Jason Tilly; Jack is also survived by his siblings; Jean A. Reed (Roy), Joyce L. Greenfield (Richard), as well as many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 12th from 4-6PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 806 Perry Hwy., Pgh, PA 15229.
Jack was a graduate of North Hills High School and Robert Morris University. Although Jack had many roles throughout his career, he especially enjoyed his work with McCandless/Franklin Park EMS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Saddened to hear of Jacks passing. I knew Jack through Sears hardware #5474 we worked together for many years. He will be missed.
Cathy and Jason: We are deeply saddened to learn of Jack’s passing. As our neighbor for twenty-nine years, Jack was one of the kindest, nicest and most sensible people we knew. By happenstance, Gary observed Jack in 2016 on several occasions, as he assisted and transported individuals receiving cancer treatment. He performed a public service with great patience and compassion. There is no “getting over” such a terrible loss. Over time, you will just learn to live with the loss even as you think about him, every day. Please accept our condooences at this difficult time.
