Age 87, of Cranberry Twp., on Thursday, December 15, 2016. Mrs. Hrubes was born on January 5, 1929 in Shaler Twp., the daughter of the late Andy and Mary (Kladler) Kovach. Beloved wife of Albert Hrubes, whom she married on June 7, 1958, and spent 58 years together. Loving aunt of Mary Jo (Harry) Shankle, Jake Shankle, Tairah (Mike) Hagens, Ken (Kim) Nowack, Patricia Nowack, Karen (Gene) Oswald, Ron (Mary) Nowack, and Mary (Jeff) Smith. Irene was preceded in death by her sisters, Wilma Nowack and Mary Watts. Family and friends received Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Pinewood Memorial Gardens.
