. Ober “Obie” Rooney, 89, of Ohio Township, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008. Beloved husband of 65 years of Margaret “Peg” Brown; loving father of Jerry (June), Judy Joyce (Jim), Susan (Dennis) Fleming, Edward (Judy), James, Patrick (Jenny), Beth, Pamela (Dave) Priestley, Richard (Patti) and the late David; survived by 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; brother of Sr. Ignatius Rooney, RSM; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Obie was past president of the Western PA Wheelmen, past president and life member of the Ohio Township Volunteer Fire Department, World War II Army Veteran and FOB. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Glenfield, Monday at 10 AM
