Age 89, of Ross Twp., on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Born July 5, 1928 to the late George and Grace (Glatz) Morrissey, of Pittsburgh. She devoted her life to raising and caring for her ever growing family. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward A. Dee; loving mother of Edward (Ruth), Jr., Linda (Kerry) Ryan, Paul (Cheryl), Tom (Debbie), Debbie (Dave) Farabaugh, and Joyce (Bob) Goertler; proud grandmother of 21; cherished great-grandmother of 36; and great-great-grandmother of one. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert (Irene) Morrissey, Regis (Viola, still living) Morrissey, George (Willa) Morrissey, Mary (Raymond) Mazzoleni, Don (Vera) Morrissey.
Friends received Friday from 2-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., 15229. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 7, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic Church, Perrysville. In lieu of flowers, and in honor of our mother’s motto “Charity Begins at Home,” please enjoy a special treat with your family and think back on her wonderful life.
