Plemmons, Eddie Verl, II, age 94, of Economy Boro, passed away on Saturday October 7, 2017. Husband of the late Gloria (Peterson); Loving father of Teri Plemmons; Also survived by his step-children, Joni Scully, Erik V. Scully (Peggy), and the late Kristen J. Scully, and Kreg K. Scully(survived by Anna Lee); proud step-grandfather of Dylan and Glori Campbell, Abrahm, Naomi, Noah and Jeshua Scully, and Erik J., Ryan and Meghan Scully; cherished step-great-grandfather of Molly and Aidan; also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Eddie proudly served his country as a United States Marine during World War II in Guadalcanal, the Phillipines, and China. After being honorably discharged, he began his love of flying while working as a pilot. During his lifetime, Eddie experienced many changes in this world; but no matter what the challenge, he always embraced it with a spirit of adventure and “go to” attitude. Always the gentleman, he had many careers and hobbies, lived in many places, traveled the world, touched many people, and loved life.

Friends will be received on Friday from 12:30PM until time of service at 1:30PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
